Calls to Action on Protecting School Choice in Pennsylvania

As reported earlier, the tax bill put out by Pennsylvania House Democrats would cut the state’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit by one-third – essentially eliminating scholarships for about 15,000 students.

The REACH Foundation has put out an action alert, calling on legislators to put children ahead of Hollywood, noting the preservation of Pennsylvania’s film tax credit.  Indeed the economics used to justify the film tax credit is flawed, and driven by special interests.

The Pennsylvania Family Institute, which operates a scholarhip program, also has a call to action touting the importance of supporting families that choose non-puplic schools.
