Chris Monteleone is the Controller at the Commonwealth Foundation.

Chris has spent over 18 years in the nonprofit industry previously serving as the Director of Finance at the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia. He has been involved in several major nonprofit organizations serving as a Board Member of the South Jersey Chapter of the American Red Cross, a member of the Future Leaders Committee of the Philadelphia Police Athletic League and as the Finance Chair for his local American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.  He is also an active participant in the Arts & Business Council of Greater Philadelphia’s Business Volunteer for the Arts program and is currently serving as the Treasurer of the Board of Directors at the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS).

Chris is a graduate of Rutgers University, where he earned both a BS and Masters in Accounting.

In his free time, Chris is an avid sports fan actively cheering on the Phillies, Eagles, Flyers and Sixers.  He also enjoys spending time with his family, discovering new red wines and traveling.
