Karine Pastorius is the Major Gifts Officer at the Commonwealth Foundation.

Prior to joining the Commonwealth Foundation in 2024, Karine spent 15 years working with major gifts donors in various higher education institutions. She was, most recently, the regional director of development at Washington and Lee University in Virginia. Previously, she served as an associate director at Haverford College and, before that, at Drexel University in the Philadelphia area. Karine also worked for other non-profit organizations earlier in her career, including the French-American Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce.

Karine, born and raised in France, has been a Pennsylvania resident for 23 years. She, her husband Dan, and their daughter Ella call Pottstown home.
