Andrew Lewis on ‘This Week in Pennsylvania’

Andrew Lewis, Commonwealth Foundation’s President & CEO, joined Dennis Owens to discuss the education and energy policies that will empower all Pennsylvanians to thrive.

Lewis called on Governor Josh Shapiro to enact Lifeline Scholarships for kids trapped in failing schools, a program that Shapiro promised during his campaign but subsequently vetoed while in office.

Lewis also highlighted Pennsylvania’s potential in leading energy production, and provided a warning about Shapiro’s efforts to impose an energy tax through RGGI, which would increase electricity costs by as much as 30%.
