The Tax Foundation analysis of IRS data finds that nearly one-third of those filing tax returns in 2005 paid no income tax.

The return info itself in interesting – the “average taxpayer” is a singe individual. I would also be curious to know what percentage of the adult population don’t file tax returns at all.
