In February, Gov. Josh Shapiro proposed a $53.26 billion budget that will worsen the state’s deficit to over $6.5 billion while failing to address key issues like educational choice and regulatory reform. Only four months prior, Shapiro signed the 2025 budget into law, creating the existing $4.6 billion deficit.
