One Year Later, Charlie Kirk’s Legacy Carries On

This time last year, like so many, I was in utter shock at the horrific murder of Charlie Kirk. Charlie—a husband, a father, a good man, and a powerful voice for faith, freedom, family, and love of America—was silenced by an act of despicable violence.

What makes this more tragic is that Charlie died while he was doing something so quintessentially American: free speech. Before he was gunned down, he was exercising this most cherished constitutional right by engaging in respectful discourse with passion, conviction, and purpose in the public square. He was speaking to and taking questions from the young American students who came to either cheer for or debate in a peaceful exchange of ideas.

He died doing what he loved: fighting for our beloved America and teaching our kids to do the same.
