About the Poll
Our Common Ground in the Commonwealth poll—conducted on a quarterly and annual basis—measures Pennsylvania’s pulse on the most important issues facing the commonwealth, including education, regulation, migration, energy, business climate, taxes, quality of life, confidence in elections, and more. The Common Ground poll also takes stock of approvals for elected officials and issue trends. By assessing results and values on a quarterly basis, as well as year-over-year, Commonwealth Foundation is ensuring that the insights, opinions, and attitudes of Pennsylvania voters are at the forefront of the conversation in Harrisburg and statewide.
Methodology
- Online survey of 800 registered Pennsylvania voters.
- Respondents were selected randomly from opt-in panel participants.
- An estimated 3.46% margin of error at the 95% confidence interval.
- Sampling controls ensure a proportional and representative number of respondents were interviewed.
